This perfect seasoned sushi rice can be used for sushi rolls, poke, or as a base for any delicious Asian stir-fry.
Ingredients
- 1½ cups calrose rice
- 1½ cups water
- 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
Preparation
- Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear.
- Cook in an Instant Pot for 13 minutes (high altitude), on high pressure, then let it natural release for 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix the vinegar, sugar, and salt. Microwave until dissolved.
- Let the rice cool slightly, then mix with the seasoned vinegar. Serve and enjoy!
